A review record is one that evaluated the psychometric properties (factor structure, validity, reliability, usability) of a test.

For example, an article that evaluates the validity of the Love Attitudes Scale is classified as a Test Review record and appears as such in the Test Master Profile for the Love Attitudes Scale. The Test Review record generally includes all of the searchable fields and filters, including index terms; the actual test (most are PDF, but there are tests in other media), when available; and a link to the PsycINFO or PsycEXTRA record of the review document.

Note that if an article evaluated and revised the test, this is considered to be a Test Development article for a unique test. Thus, an article that evaluated the Love Attitudes Scale and included revisions that form the Love Attitudes Scale—Short Form is classified as a Development article and appears as such in the Test Master Profile for the Love Attitudes Scale—Short Form.
